Competitions – Valencia Balboa Festival

THE VAL SWITCH STRICTLY CONTEST

Dance competition open to all levels. Dancers are expected to show their ability to both lead and follow and to transition smoothly between roles.

Judges will be looking especially for couples who are able to lead and follow equally. Registration is required by filling out the registration form. PRICE: 10€

Prelims: 17th of May (before the party)

Finals: 18th of May (during the 1st band break)

PURE BALBOA COMPETITION

This competition is open to all festival participants! Find a partner and get ready for the Pure Balboa Competition on Sunday night.

Prelims and finals will take place during the second band break. The only requirement is that the competition will be in a closed position and with very fast tempos.

No cost to enter and pre-registration is not necessary.
